Anesthesia | Innovative Anesthesia, pllc
Bruce has been a registered nurse for over 20 years. In 1997 Bruce returned to school and attended Gonzaga Universitys Master of Anesthesiology Education program. This career change was prompted by Bruces desire to improve pain control for his patients.
Bruce has worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist independently since his graduation in 2000. He is interested in the management of acute and chronic pain. Presently he is focusing on providing efficient, state of the art, anesthesia for ambulatory surgery. This focus has led to the development of an active post-operative pain management program using peripheral nerve blocks to help prevent and decrease post-operative discomfort using ultrasound guided single injection and continuous infusion techniques.
In addition to Pend Oreille Surgery Center, Bruce has founded Innovative Anesthesia to service the anesthesia needs of Pend Oreille Surgery Center and nearby hospitals by forming a partnership with Stuart Gall, CRNA.
Bruce is actively working toward developing facilities for recreational sports in the Bonner County area. He also is active coaching and officiating in youth sports. He has been a supporter of the Festival At Sandpoint for several years.
In his spare time Bruce likes to cycle, ski, and enjoys Lake Pend Oreille with his family and friends.
